Back on Track
I have lost the momentum of yoga practice since April this year. My favorite instructor, Yograj, has left the studio, then I hurt my back, always on business trips and I fell sick (fever and cough). All these has disrupted my usual 3-4 times a week's practices. It's a big wastes of my limited membership fee and I am now trying to get back on track.
I went for a Hatha 1 session yesterday evening and I was shocked that my body has deteriorate so much. Back then, I only attend Hatha 2 as Hatha 1 was too easy. But now, even a simple "Tree Pose" is challenging. The deterioration covers all aspects, strength, stamina, flexibility, balance, even concentration.
I need to resume my normal alternate-day-practice and I need to find a good instructor again. There are quite a number of new instructors joining my studio, it would take me quite a while to find one that suits me.

A Small Bump in Yoga
My usual yoga practice schedule was affect by the personnel changes at the yoga center. My favorite instructor, Yograj, was transferred Centrium, and the Hatha 2 classes at Langham Place was replaced by other instructor.
The classes started to suck. Even thought it's Hatha 2 lesson, it feels like going back to Hatha 1. The postures taught were simple, no challenge. Most of the old students have disappeared, replaced a bunch of newbies, who can't even do the posts. And some of them even complained about the lesson being too difficult on the internet forum. Why don't they just stick with Hatha 1?! I think the poor instructor is really at the losing end, with experienced students complain too easy and beginners complain too difficult.
I was unhappy that even if I carry on, I won't be able to advance in my practice. After considering for 2 weeks, I finally decided to upgrade my membership to "All Centers" so that I can stick on with Yograj's classes. I re-joined Yograj's classes at the Centrium last evening for a session of YIN. The lesson was great and I learnt a few new postures, so I'm back on track again! *muahmuahmuah*

Yoga Mania
I started picking up yoga again after I signed on for a two-year membership. With unlimited classes, I must make my money worth. After the first month of relative intensive classes to try out the different yoga style and instructure, I finally landed with a more stayable schedule for my weekly practise (3-4 days a week).
I choose
Hatha 2 as my basic practise twice a week. I try not to miss the classes as it is the opportunity for me to learn new poses, moving to more advance level. In addition,
Pranayama and Meditation on sunday morning follow by another session of Hatha 1 (Hatha 2 no available on sunday). Yin on saturday and any other weekdays when I need do more stretching. It is quite painful to stay in a position for 3-5 minutes but somehow I enjoy torturing myself :P.
Power Yoga / Ashtanga on weekday energize my body. May be trying other new classes ... but not hot yoga, I hate the heat.
