Cube 2: Hypercube

I would vote it as the best movie I have watched in the past 5 years, other than the LOTR series. It's the type that either you love it, or you hate it.

You have to watch Cube to have an idea of the sequel. This time, it gets much better, not 3-D, but it's a four-dimensional space ! Length, width, depth & time !!!.

Intellectual Type

My friend sent me a Classic IQ Test Link. It shows that I belongs to a type called, Precision Processor. My IQ points ? Of course I'm not telling you ! Here is what it says:

Your Intellectual Type is a Precision Processor. You've got a very experiential way of learning and a strong mathematical mind. You're able to whittle even the most complex situation down to comprehensible component parts. In short, you have mastered the art and science of precision. That's what makes you a Precision Processor.

For you, life is a series of equations. Your brain is naturally predisposed to intense mathematical acuity, and your understanding of numerical problems is unparalleled. It's second nature for you to cut to the heart of an issue, so that you can discover quick solutions to problems while others get bogged down in unnecessary details.

One Precision Processor that comes to mind is the Greek philosopher-mathematician, Pythagoras. Pythagoras had a mind for numbers and, as such, could come up with previously unknown theories like his method for calculating the sides of a right triangle (a2+b2=c2). You too, can use numbers to translate aspects of the world around you something that doesn't come easily to everyone. Your quick mathematical mind will allow you to communicate a variety of ideas to other people, so don't keep it to yourself.

Precision Processors can apply their mathematical skills to any situation involving numbers. That's a talent that will come in handy for everything from the workplace to splitting a bill 12 ways to converting foreign currency in your head. Others often look to you to do the math and luckily, you're well equipped.

Great Jobs For You
Because of the way you process information, these are just some of the many careers in which you would excel:
* Scientist
* Mathematician
* Accountant
* Data Analyst
* Musician
* Astronomer
* Researcher
* Physicist

Some of Your Greatest Talents
You've got tons of strengths. It wouldn't surprise us if you:
* Are resourceful
* Are detail oriented
* Are highly efficient & economical
* Are lightening quick with responses
* Think in numbers
* Are experimental

Do I look like that ?

Moment of Inspiration

My friend Duma sent me this link to a clip and I like it very much.

However, click only if:
1. You really appreciate Art and creativity.
2. You have time, the clip last about 10 mins.
3. You have a fast connect to Taiwan, if not, download will take hours.
4. You like Kitaro's music.

I don't understand why people can blog during working hour. My thoughts always get disrupted by phone calls, things happening in the office.

It is good to send a junk mail to everyone in the contact list from time to time (but not too often) when one is feeling too bored. I tend to get reply mail from friends who I haven't been contacting for a long time. It is nice to know that I have not been forgotten. *grin*

Interesting Short Story

A man in a hot air balloon realized he was lost. He reduced
altitude and spotted a woman below. He descended a bit more
and shouted, "Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend
I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."

The woman below replied, "You're in a hot air balloon hovering
approximately 30 feet above the ground. You're between 40 and
41 degrees north latitude and between 59 and 60 degrees west
longitude."

"You must be in Information Technology," said the balloonist.
"I am," replied the woman, "How did you know?"

"Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is,
technically correct, but I've no idea w! hat to make of your information,
and the fact is I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help at all.
If anything, you've delayed my trip."

The woman below responded, "You must be in Management."
"I am," replied the balloonist, "but how did you know?"
"Well," said the woman, "you don't know where you are or where
you're going. You have risen to where you are, due to a large quantity
of hot air. You made a promise, which you've no idea how to keep, and
you expect people beneath you to solve your problems. The fact is you
are in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but now,
somehow, it's my fault."

My Next Mobile Phone

It is selling at HK$3,280 for a European parallel-import version and HK$4,410 for a local Chinese version. I am waiting for the price to drop below HK$3,000.

It is small and very light, also very user-friendly, which is the most important factor when I'm only buying parallel-import version. It's not possible for me to check out the functions in the mannual as it's in French !
